Heather & Matthew

Hi there! We’re Heather and Matthew Maynard—a husband and wife photo team. We’re based out of Athens, Georgia, but we’re available for travel anywhere. (And we think traveling is lots of fun—especially if there’s a chance for scuba diving nearby!)

We shot our first wedding together back when we were dating and our shooting styles meshed surprisingly well. (Have you ever tried to work with your significant other? Then you know why we say “surprisingly”!) We balance each other out – Heather’s the organized one who comes equipped with a list (at least one), and Matthew’s the laid-back one who tends to sit back a bit and capture things as they happen.

We’re fans of good food, home projects, our iPhones and our crazy dogs, and our clients often turn into our friends. (And we think that’s pretty cool, too.)
